The Biddulph Grange Gardens in Staffordshire, were curated by James Bateman, the renowned horticulturist and landowner. The feature a range of sculptures and natural foliage drawn from around the world, such as Californian Redwoods to Japanese Maple Trees.
A lot of the gardens are dissected to celebrate this multi-cultural ambition. we encountered Chinese pagodas and Egyptian sphinx', it was a really interesting approach on what otherwise seems a standard English country garden. I'm sure when the weather improves we'll go back to have another look and hopefully be able to appreciate the variation in the colours a bit more. Have a nice weekend.
